A Home Information pack(Hips) is required whenever a building is constructed, sold or rented and will contain the current average costs for heating, hot water and lighting in a property, as well as recommendations on how to cut costs with energy efficiency measures. it  will provide a property with a familiar and consumer-friendly A to G energy rating - with the the most efficient homes having an 'A' energy rating and less impact on the environment.
